Helmets are what identifies the rider when riding. It is essentially the face of the rider. It is hard to come by a helmet that is out of the norm, this definitely does the job.

Romanian designer Laurentiu Trifescuis designs a superbike if Lamborghini were to release one. It is a V4 engine based 1000 cc bike by Lambo! Too bad it’s not real. Would love to see it come alive! Raging Bull on 2 Wheels!

For those who haven’t heard of Isle of Mann TT, just for your information, it is one of the highest anticipated motorcycle race of the year. Every year, the Isle of Mann which is an island near the Irish Sea take a week off for international racing superstars to come race on their PUBLIC roads. Yes, I said public, yes the country closes off those roads just for racing. Google it if you will, below is a Youtube video for your time.
Enjoy!

This is Jerevin’s contribution, the lead designer of our Design Team.
Arai Kenny Roberts Jr. Replica Rx7 Corsair
Fit: While my head is not incredibly abnormal, I do find it difficult to conform to any helmet comfortably. I really dislike when the mouth guard is too far away from my mouth, as it feels like it distorts my vision. Which I have to hand to Arai, they keep those bad boys set so it’s just close enough, and the visor isn’t so “now” when you look up you see helmet. The cheek pads have a great break in feel and I’m a guy that sweats like there is no tomorrow when I get to hard riding, which the cheek pads are great at wicking away the sweat. The overall shell is great too; perfect aerodynamics, the bunny ears and scoops are well rounded to keep from gripping air when I turn my head sideways. Seamless marriage of form and function.
Graphics: Let’s be honest; not my favorite. While I have all the respect in the world for Arai, I can’t say I’m a fan of any of their designs really. Colors are vibrant and keep well from fading, but style wise they don’t speak to me.
Durability: Built like a tank. I’m sold. With the $600 price tag that is infamous with Arai, I’d say worth it. If you have it.
Perks: Great fit. Great moisture deterrent. Light as a feather. Great vent locations. Shell has the best possible placement of bunny ears and vents. Never had an Arai fog up on me and I’ve had 3. Their simply top tier without a doubt.
Cost: Painful to shell out, but worth every penny. Twice.
Cons: Give me better graphics plz!! K thnx.

FieldSheer Flex 1pc Suit
Fit: Like a glove. Snug everywhere it needs to be, and no where it shouldn’t. I have really long legs and arms, while it feels a bit short for my legs (Not important since boots cover anyway). But, honestly my biggest issue is not with my length but the size of my back and shoulders. I’m build like some Fantasy Elf or something and this brilliant suit seems to be made my Sinjri himself. The armor that comes it in is great quality and molded well to my shape.
Graphics: It is just a simple solid black. Which I prefer anyway. Some white in there would be nice, but it does well to give a great suede black look. After all, I’m not into looking like a walking billboard or cereal box. GP and Track elitist like to look like cereal boxes because that’s how they make money. I’m not riding my lowly pace, so I’ll stick with squid solids, with hints of Raver fluorescents. Black with Neon/Fluorescent Violet for the win!
Durability: Built like Mjolnir its self.
I’ve had a Berik suit that shredded in the leg from low side, supple and light but not exactly what I would call durable. Also, I’ve had a Teknic Chicane which I would say is made of some great quality leather. I low sided at Buttonwillow at about 45mph, slid into some dirt, tumbled over the bike like a cat falls off the sofa, and all that happened to the suit was a little tear on the leg where the spandex like material meets the leather. Amazing quality leathers. Brand whore’s don’t know what their missing. (TK: BOOYA!)
Perks: Solid stealth black. 38 fits like a glove. Pref’d just enough to keep me cool without looking like a holey sponge. Great, durable leather quality that is supple as all get. A little heavy but I don’t mind. The aero hump makes me look like an Orca whale while I’m cruising the canyons so that’s two and a half thumbs up from me. (TK: He really loves humps =P) I got it for a great price from Bikebandit.com, as a former employee there they treated me all kinds of fancy. Shop there, you know you want to.
Cost: Well considering I came across a once in a lifetime kind of deal on this I am happy as a kid at Chucky Cheese, stuck in a ball pit. Upside-down. However, as it retails for somewhere in the $800-1,000 mark, I’d have to say worth it but I’d never shell out that kind of dough.
Cons: A brand better known for its Tank bags and Textiles gets the bad wrap (Pun intended). I support you Fieldsheer. I do.

Alpinestars Sp-1
Fit: Well, while my hands aren’t the biggest, I work hard and I have calluses for days. The gloves leather is very comfy and soft. Very. I do very much appreciate the quality of leather, however they are snug as hell on my fingers. They bite into the tips of my fingers when ever I made a full fist. So I’ve resorted to always keeping my first two fingers out on the clutch and break, while my outer two finger grip the grips. Not the best fit. Uncomfortable placement of the wrist strap that is just before the gauntlet portion. It is too close to my palm for me. However, I have noted that my bitching may come directly from the wrong size. Maybe I need XL. Though, I’ve had XL Held Phantom gloves before too, and they were way too big for me. So I’ll just shrug this one off and deal.
Graphics: Black and white. With fancy little ricer carbon fiber. OOOH. I can hear the school girl in me squeal just saying that. Really…
Durability: My first, shredded after one low side. Second pair too. Definitely saved my palm but I had to buy new ones. At a price point that these run, I’m not so sure I’m paying for quality of product or quality of Company Name. But I Have to be honest, the white retains it’s cleanliness well, and they hold up incredibly well for daily commuting.
Perks: Um….the carbon fiber thing I spoke of earlier? They do have a some really supple leather quality.
Cost: Typical of gloves. But I would like something more for $130.00
Cons: Cost. (TK: at the right place you can get these brand new for $90)
Oxtar TCS EVO RX Street Boots
Fit: Tight on the sides, but enough flex in the material to let my feet breathe a bit. I have pretty large feet but these fit well for hard plastics and leather. I know Oxtar became TCX and all, and I really do think they are a great company.
Graphics: Again, Black and gun metal. What more could I need? HOW ABOUT AWESOME METAL THINGS AND VENTS! Oh HELL YEAH! Really, I feel like a futuristic character from Phantasy Star Online wearing these things. I’ve had a pair of Sidi’s as well, Corsairs, and they had fancy little red trim. I really liked that, minus the red part, Oxtar you may take this as a mental note; Trim is awesome sometimes.
Durability: 45mph Low sided at Buttonwillow in these and they asked for more. Not a screw loose, not a scuff I couldn’t buff out. And you know what? I actually got these from my fellow AS-TWO conspirator (Really, we do conspire to bring riders their own real fashion label) TK Lin. Great quality.
Perks: Great vent locations to keep my wee little piggy’s cool. Well made material. And the best perk of all, high quality ninja like squeaking. Post WD40. But I don’t mind.
Cost: I think they could charge more honestly… But why? Keep the brand whores spending money for a name! Oxtar/TCX you fucking rock.
NOTE: I’m the squeaky ninja.

Underarmour Metal Top & Bottom + Socks and undies
Fit: Do I really need to answer?
Graphics: Simple black and white with fancy manly buffness trim. Makes me feel like a man bison.
Durability: I left them in the drier on accident and they got all fuzzy. Shame shame! I know, but they still work.
Perks: I get to be naked, but not. And I look like a ninja. Plus these thing wick sweat with brilliant mastery. Well done Underarmour. You’ve been my trusted naked covering item since I wrestled in high school. Cheers to you.
Cost: Pricey, because well they’re Underarmour what can you expect?
Cons: They may wick sweat, but they don’t wick stains…yay for testosterone laden sweat stains!
We are all different in many ways but brought together with one thing and that is motorcycle riding. With that said, like our company marketing line is, “Welcome to the Society of Two Wheels Only.”

Ill spice things up a bit. Lets skip the boring part….
Helmet: I have quite a few helmets.. but as of now, my favorite is AGV. Creative, Good amount of air flow, not recommended for heavy breathers ( cough ), priced a bit high. Im using the Dark Smoked Visor but i dont suggest it for people that ride alot at night. This helmet retails for 699.95. i got it for 525 .

Suit: It was really hard for me to decide whether or not i was ready for a suit, but after going to Glendora Mountain Road with Tk, Danny, and Hanson. I realized that safe gear is very important. Which brought Tk and I to The Dainese Store in Orange County the following day. It is a 1 piece suit made out of cowhide leather and titanium plating, 84% Nylon, 16% Elasthane. I also dont recommend this suit for new riders because its quite expensive and if anything gets damaged. It will hurt both mentally and physically.
Everybody knows that Dainese is a great brand, Rossi Valentino is sponsored by them, so is alot of other racers.. but you don’t buy Dainese because the racers wear it… you buy it because it fits your body very snug and you feel comfortable in it.
When it comes down to price.. lets just say it put a dent into my wallet. This suit cost me 1700$ I paid retail because i did not want to wait a few weeks for a cheaper one that I could have found on Ebay. Yes people.. i learned my lesson.

Gloves: Like i was saying.. When it comes to brand whoring.. i am the specialist.. So when I went looking for gloves, I thought to myself ” I might as well buy some Dainese gloves, since im here already”. To answer your wondering thoughts.. YES! i did buy Dainese gloves. They cost me well over 380$ but damn.. it was money well spent! I honestly don’t think anyone should cheap out on your hands.. think about it.. Whats more important? looking cool and riding around like a squid? or wearing some “DAINESE”! Ha.. told you so.

Boots: So heres the tricky one, There is love and hate in this category. Some buy boots for function and comfort, others for looks. When I was deciding to buy boots, i came across some really SEXY Sidi’s which costed about 400-500$. They looked great.. they felt great.. they also took about 5 minutes to put on! YAY!!! ” wait for me guys, im putting my boots on! ” …..so no.. i didn’t buy Sidi’s.. i went for Alphine Stars.. Cost me half the price.. and they work the same.. feels great and also looks great!! So it doesn’t allow me to wrap my suit around the outside of it like Dainese Boots.. And it doesn’t look as cool as Sidi’s with all those bright Straps.. but hey.. Casey Stoner is whipping everyone with these boots
ha!!

Accessories: Tk thinks no one does commando in their suit ( wink wink ) LOL!.. im just kidding.. So while we were checking out at the Dainese store, my eyes glanced at this beautiful inner suit that was hanged on a bar next to us. Impulsive Decisions.. leads to Impulsive Purchases.. costed about 80$ or less.. but it soakes up all the sweat off your body!

Back Protector: This part of your body you really need to make sure is safe, So i went ahead and purchased a Dainese Back Protector for 100$. I suggest every rider that will run canyons or track events should get one! They have different sizes and different designs but i love the Dainese ones.. Pure Orgasm.

So that about does it for my Gear.. Ill keep updating as I get new stuff. Thank you for taking the time to read this. All comments and/or suggestions are welcome. Cheers!

I’ll start. I’m a natural brand whore so I tend to buy things with a name brand and a reputation behind it. I also like to be different and not have something too much of a norm.
Helmet: I have a couple, but my main one is a Shark. Light, good air flow, looks decent, fair price. They are a French based company and its not as popular as Arai, Shoei, or AGV but it’s definitely coming up.

I have their tinted visor in blue mirror. I got it for $400 or so which is pretty good deal. A competitive product to this helmet would be the new Arai Corsair-V, AGV GP-Tech, Shoei X-11.
Suit: This is my second suit. My first suit was a Teknic Chicane. It was a 1 piece suit, preforated and it only cost me $300 bucks. It was on closeout and it was a good deal. Alot of my buddies that I ride with also have the same suit and they’ve gone down on it and was not hurt. They’ve literally put it to the test and have no regrets. My current suit that I’m currently using temporarily is the RS-Taichi GPX. It doesn’t fit me properly therefore it will soon be replaced with something else but I am EXTREMELY happy with this suit. RS Taichi is a world class renowned suit company but isn’t as popular as Alpinestars. Everything they offer is top quality. RS Tachi is from Japan and it’s not too popular in Moto GP or World Superbike but its definitely an Amateur Racer’s Choice.

I got it from Terra Powersports for almost $1000. Retail when it first came out was $1300 so it was a good deal. Came with an extra set of pucks.
Gloves: I am not too picky when it comes to gloves and in a little bit you’ll see why. Gloves can range from $50 to $350 and of course in different price range, the more you spend the better you get. I’m on my second set of gloves and it has lasted me a whole year so far. My first set of gloves was the Alpinestars SP1 made in 2007 and that was rubbish. I went down on a minor low side at the canyons and the gloves was done. What’s funny is right after I went down, the 2008 Sp1s came out and it was MUCH better and that’s what I currently use. What’s most important to me from a glove is that it fits properly, and it is a full gauntlet. My glove doesn’t even match properly with my color set up but its okay. These gloves are soon to be replaced. If gloves can last a year for me, that is enough. Gloves go through a lot and it’s not easy to find affordable durable gloves.
I got these for mad cheap. $90 bucks from my boys at GP Moto Parts. Peep them @ www.gpmotoparts.com Tell them AS|TWO sent you and they’ll take care of ya!
Boots: I spent a lot of money and time finding the right boots. The popular brand that we see alot whether its the track or the canyons, Sidi dominate the boots market. Only recently has newer brands started popping up like Puma, TCX, and Alpinestars. Like father like son, I’m born with ginormous calves and this was the biggest problem I’ve had when dealing with gear. My first set of boots was TCX (I don’t even remember the model name). I had a hard time getting into those boots every single time I put them on. I somehow managed to make it fit but my fingers would bruise up every single time trying to put my foot in there. So my first initial reaction was to buy a set of Sidis. So I spent the money and bought a set of Sidis Vertigo Corsas Air from Extreme Supply. They took care of me and gave me a good deal. I tried them on there with Jeans and I thought my search has ended. I thought that I found the boot that would make my life easier. Actually I failed. I should have tried the boot on with the suit on and like the TCX, I had a hard time getting my foot in the Sidis as well. Let me make it easier to understand, it’s a workout trying to squeeze my big calves into the boots and if I did, while riding, it would hurt my calves. It just does not work. So I sold that and bought a set of Alpinestars Supertech Rs. My search is OVER! The Supertech Rs are better in SO many ways.

This feels lighter than the Sidis. It has WAY more flexibility and room for people with “unique” body porportions like me. The toe sliders are easy and quick to remove/replace. And they’re not too expensive. It feels like a glove and it offers great comfort and feel. I honestly don’t understand why Sidis are so loved in the boots industry because they seem like its alot of work to put one on every single time. These are cheaper and offer just about the same protection as the Sidis do. GP Moto Parts are letting them go for about $300 right now when the retail is $475. www.gpmotoparts.com
Accessories: Who goes commando in a suit. I think Randy De Puniet might. I know i don’t haha. Getting in and out of a suit sometimes can be a bitch. I have the RS Taichi Inner Suit and as my spares, I also have Under Armour. With this on, it helps my body breathe better and it makes it SOO much easier to slip in and out of the suit. Especially when it’s super duper hot and you just want to jump out of the suit, having this inner suit makes life easy.

It costs about $90 bucks and it’s TOTALLY worth it.
Back Protector: This is totally necessary in event of a fall. Your back is very important and the suit’s foam back protection isn’t enough. I have the Alpinestars Bionic Race Back Protector. Although it’s not the best in the market it definitely does the job.

I’ve spent quite an amount and time to get to satisfaction but it’s worth it. The best thing for new riders is to find someone that understands gear very well. Having proper gear makes a BIG BIG difference. Never EVER go skimp on gear.

I personally am not a big fan of Max Biaggi but others will disagree with me. Nonetheless, Max is an excellent rider and has been around for quite awhile now. The new Aprilia RSV4 is about to release soon and its highly anticipated as the first fully adjustable production bike coming out in the market.

There needs to be better pics but this is what I have. This is my cousin’s weapon of choice. 2009 Yamaha YZF-R6. Had a spill a while back at Streets of Willow and he just finished rebuilding it.

The Audi-like lights was a nice touch. I can’t wait to see this thing finished. Jump to www.itsjunxi.com to his blog. Lerry, MORE PICTURES!

Jamie Hacking had the opportunity to race for Paul Bird Kawasaki World Superbike Team at Miller over the weekend and did an amazing job! We don’t know what the future holds for him, if he will ever get a full seat in World Superbike but would be definitely nice to see more Americans in that series!
Jamie Hacking, you have our support! We also would LOVE to see Kawasaki start doing well in motorsport racing!
